Description:
Get hands-on with Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, & Math every Saturday during the summer reading program from 11am-12pm. This program is open to youth of all ages, but kids age 12 and younger must have an adult attend the program with them. Materials are limited for some workshops, pre-registration is recommended. July 15: Cardboard City With cardboard and found materials we will build a whole city in the Youth Department. Stop by the Library and pick up a building permit to submit your ideas. (Please note: this program will begin at 10am and end at 2pm) July 29: Marble Machine Tinkering Roll a marble down a contraption of your own design using everyday materials. August 12: Learn to Code Learn more about coding and computer science while designing and playing games. August 19: Build a better…. Using blocks, recycled items, and other everyday materials take on fun engineering challenges.
