\nThursday, August 26, 2021<\/p>\n

Present: Ellen Taetzsch, Martha Rowley, Don Tretler, Brady Weinstock, Claudia Sofield, Kathleen Hacker, Duane Whitehead, Celina Houlne, Sam Maskell<\/p>\n

Absent: Mary Shepard, Dale Kondracki<\/p>\n

LOCATION: In the Library\u2019s Youth Program Room, and also online via Zoom.<\/p>\n

1) Call to Order: 6:03 pm<\/p>\n

2) Additions to Agenda for routine administrative matters and\/or pressing matters that will require ratification at a future meeting: n\/a<\/p>\n

3) Public Comment (3 minutes per person): n\/a<\/p>\n

4) Executive Session \u2014 Personnel Employment:
\na) Brady moved that premature general public knowledge of the details concerning a personnel matter involving a future RFPL employee will clearly place the employee and the Board at a substantial disadvantage by disclosing the personal details of this topic. Ellen seconded. Motion was unanimously approved.
\nb) Brady moved that the Library Board enter executive session for discussion of a personnel issue, under the provisions of Title 1, Section 313 (a) (3), and invite the Library Director, Celina Houlne, and the Youth Librarian, Sam Maskell, to attend. Ellen seconded. Motion was unanimously approved. Entered executive session at 6:04 pm. Left executive session at 7:43 pm.
\nNo action was taken.<\/p>\n

6) Adjourn: Martha moved to adjourn, Kathleen seconded. Meeting adjourned at 7:44 pm.<\/p>\n
