There were no Additions to Agenda for routine administrative matters.<\/p>\n 3. There were no public comments<\/p>\n 4. Approval of minutes from 30 March, 2025 meeting motion by Martha Rowley, second by Bonnie North. Unanimous vote.<\/p>\n 5. Bylaw change proposal submitted by Policy Committee. Discussed proposed changes to Article I, III, and XVI which lower library board membership to seven members. 6. Update: Federal funding to Vermont Dept of Libraries. Ian Graham informed the Board that he is getting updates approx. every 2 wks. Vermont has received approx 1.2M dollars per year. After the initial announcement that all funding was cut, the State provided reassurance that Vermont has already received 2025 funds and 2026 funding appears secure. The State and American Library Association are working to maintain funding.<\/p>\n 7. Update FY2025 Budget. Ian Graham updated the Board that he expects to end the FY25 with expenses near budget and income above budget due to receipt of unexpected donations, an IT grant and Friends of the Library funding of items previously budgeted 8. Discussion Sustainable Libraries Program. Mike Sola updated the board that initial cost is $300 for certification pathway, and then $50 per year. He had communication from a library that found the advise helpful and had no negative feedback from their community. 9. Other Business: none.<\/p>\n 10. Review action items, agenda items for next meeting. Next meeting Thursday, 17 July 2025 at 6:30PM. Plan second vote on Bylaw change, Update on Federal funding to Vermont Dept of Libraries, Sustainable Libraries Program and other items as needed.<\/p>\n 11. \nfor with library funds. Ginger Driscoll questioned if RFPL could afford a subscription to Candid Directory which is very helpful when searching for grant funding. She will research possible options.<\/p>\n
