Raymond Massucco, Trustees\/Policy Committee Members and Celina Houlne, Librarian<\/p>\n Others:<\/strong>\u00a0 No public and no press present<\/p>\n Call to Order: <\/strong>\u00a0Chairperson, Blackwood, called the meeting to order at 6:23 p.m.<\/p>\n Additions or Changes to Agenda:<\/strong>\u00a0 None<\/p>\n Public Comment (3 minutes per person):<\/strong>\u00a0 No comments<\/p>\n Minutes of July 29, 2014:\u00a0 <\/strong>Motion by Frisa to accept the Minutes of July 29th as printed and seconded by Massucco.\u00a0 The motion carried.<\/p>\n Finalization of Proposed Changes to Bylaws to be Presented to Full Board at Sept. Mtg:<\/strong> The committee commenced looking at each article and suggested changes where they thought it was needed.\u00a0 Most changes were to correct grammar, add or delete where sentences were not clear, i.e. ARTICLE I, line 4, Aldrich suggested \u201cNew Trustees shall take an oath of office immediately upon entering the duties of their office.\u201d\u00a0 ARTICLE XII was renamed \u201cLibrary Policies instead of \u201cOperational Policy Manual\u201d.\u00a0 ARTICLE XVI was renamed \u201cBylaw Amendments\u201d instead of \u201cAmendments\u201d.<\/p>\n Blackwood advised that she would get the changes made promptly and email to all committee members before presenting it to the full board of library trustees.<\/p>\n At 8:45 p.m., Massucco moved to adjourn; seconded by Frisa.\u00a0 The motion carried.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Respectfully submitted,___________________________ 9\/3\/2014 <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" ROCKINGHAM FREE PUBLIC LIBRARY \u00a0POLICY COMMITTEE MEETING SEPTEMBER 2, 2014 MINUTES Click here to download a .pdf of these minutes \u00a0 Present:\u00a0 Doreen Aldrich, Carol Blackwood, Carolyn Frisa, L.
