Description

G2-7 thru G2-15 the Night Express was apparently derailed by a faulty "Saint Albans" rail in the track immediately approaching the bridge. It fell to the ice and burned, igniting the wooden bridge. Coal stoves in the wooden cars started the fire. The burning bridge fell on the cars below. There were about 32 fatalities.
