Computers, Wi-Fi, and Hotspots

There are public access computers available for general use and a separate set of computers for youth only (ages 15 and younger). To use a computer you must first sign up at the Library desk. Patrons are allotted a maximum of one hour on the public access computers per day. Signing up and using a computer means that you agree to follow the Rockingham Free Public Library Computer and Internet Policy (click for details). Rockingham Library’s Social Networking Policy

Wi-Fi

Free, unrestricted wi-fi is available throughout the Library.  There is no password needed to connect your laptops and devices to the Library wi-fi.

 Printing, Copying, and Faxing

Printing, Copying, faxing, and scanning is available in the Library as a fee service.
  • Printing costs: * Black and white .10 (per side) page * Color printing is .50 (per side) page Copying is .10/copy Faxing is $1.00/page
Wireless printing is not available.

 Scanning

A scanner is available in the Library for free patron use; ask at the front desk.

WiFi Hotspots

In order to borrow a WiFi Hotspot you must have a Rockingham Free Public Library card in good standing and fill out a Hotspot User Agreement form (youth must have one filled out by a parent/guardian). Click here to download a .pdf of the form

Hotspots check-out for 7 days with no renewal.

Hotspots must be returned to Rockingham Library’s Main or Youth Circulation Desk by the due date. There will be a $10 fine if I return the Hotspot in the Drop Box outside.

Hotspots are deactivated when overdue.
