Let’s Game 12pm – Board games, card games, and more!

Tuesday
 Preschool Storytime 10:30am – Let’s grow together in literacy! Join us for an interactive program where we read, sing, and play. Storytimes are drop-in friendly.

Wednesday
Roblox Hangout 12pm – Open to any age Kids will need to have their own (free) account to play. Kids are invited to bring their own device to play on. A limited number of devices are available on a walk-in basis while supplies last.

Thursday
Lego Club 12pm – Drop in and get creative with LEGO Club! Build, design, and invent using our collection of LEGO bricks while exploring weekly challenges or creating your own masterpieces.

Friday
Playgroup 10:30am-12pm  – Drop in for a fun morning of play, stories, and making friends with other toddlers, preschoolers, and their grown-ups.

Friday Night Teen Tabletop 5-9pm – Teens age 13 and older. Put down the device, pick up a pencil, and play the game! Pathfinder, D&D, and other tabletop games. Registration required.

Lunch at the libraryChildren and teens can have lunch for FREE at the Library this summer!

DinoMan
Monday, July 6, 6pm – DinoMan is an interactive edutainment program that brings the Mesozoic Era to life using magic, comedy, and giant inflatable dinosaurs.

Summer Readers (CLiF) (Details to be announced) – Literacy event featuring a storyteller or author presentation followed by a book giveaway where each child gets to pick two brand-new books to keep

World Folk Tales and Music
Saturday, July 11, 11am – Stories and music from around the world with a sing-along with Ron Bos-Lun

Tai Chi for Kids
Saturday, July 18, 11am – Come enjoy an introduction to the gentle nature inspired movements of Tai Chi by moving like water, pushing a mountain, riding a tiger, or stretching like a white crane. Led by Michelle Bos-Lun. Recommended for ages 3-5.

Annual Tie-Dye and Ice Cream Social
Tuesday, July 21, 4pm-5:30pm – Bring a white cotton t-shirt to this colorful and sweet family tie-dying event. We’ll have the dyes, materials, and know how. You bring a T-shirt and the creativity. And while your tie-dyes are soaking, enjoy a cool summer treat

Mess-tival
Tuesday, July 28, 4pm-5:30pm – Get ready for Mess-tival, a wildly messy afternoon of oobleck, slime, experiments, art, and hands-on fun for kids and teens. We’ll end the chaos with an explosive volcano finale, so dress for mess!

Among Dinosaurs (The Nature Museum)
Saturday, August 22, 1pm – 2pm – Journey back to the age of dinosaurs to discover the ancient plants, animals, and mysterious sea creatures that lived alongside them. Featuring fossils and live animal ambassadors, this exciting program explores prehistoric life both extinct and still surviving today.

This summer’s Adopt-A-Dino program is part of the 2026 Summer Reading Program and invites children to choose a small dinosaur to serve as their Reading Buddy.

Spill the Tea: A (Boston) Tea Party Reimagined

Late Night at the Library

When the library closes, the fun begins! Enjoy an exclusive after-hours evening of games, creative challenges, storytelling, open mic activities, and time to hang out with friends. This special Teen Takeover is open to members of Kids of Chaos (RFPL’s Teen Advisory Group) and teens who have participated in library programs throughout the summer as a celebration of their involvement and support.
