Book Club – The Light Pirate by Lily Brooks-Dalton

Join facilitator Eric Bye for a book discussion of this year’s Vermont Reads selection, The Light Pirate, by Lily Brooks-Dalton.  This event is free and open to the public. Books are available for pick-up at the library during the month of November.

About the facilitator: Eric Bye has been active with Vermont Humanities since the ’90s. His M.A. is in French language and literature, and he has also done graduate studies in Spanish and German. A freelance certified translator, he has translated a hundred non-fiction books into English for several publishers. He is particularly devoted to 18th- and 19th-century American and European novels and history.

The Light Pirate is the 2025 VT Community Reads book.
