The Night Sky

The Southern Vermont Astronomy Group (SoVerA) will be visiting the Rockingham Recreation Center on Saturday, July 6 at 6:30pm to lead a presentation and lunar observation program, The Night Sky.

Learn about the moon, how it got there, how it does – and doesn’t – affect our lives.  Then get ready to go outside to observe the moon and the night sky.  Since part of this program will be outside, please dress for the weather.

In case of poor weather conditions or a cloudy sky, the program will be rescheduled to Saturday, July 13th.

This all-ages program is presented as part of the Rockingham Free Public Library’s 2019 Summer Reading Program, “A Universe of Stories”, and is free and open to the public. This program is presented by SoVerA, the Rockingham Free Public Library, and the Rockingham Recreation Center. For more information contact the Library at 802.463.4270, youthservices@rockinghamlibrary.org, rockinghamlibrary, org, or stop by the Library at 65 Westminster St in Bellows Falls.

The event is finished.
