Wednesdays 1:30pm & 4pm: Roblox Club
There are a limited number of devices available. If your youth needs a device, pre-registration is required. 

Thursdays 10:30: Musical Infant / Toddler Storytime

Fridays 10:30am-12pm: Playgroup

Lunch at the Library

Youth age 18 and younger can have lunch for free at the Library this summer.  Stop by on weekdays and pick up a packed lunch at the Library!                                   

No registration or sign-up required.


Lunch will be served from 11:15am – 12pm weekdays during the summer reading program.

Tuesday, July 2, 5pm – Southern VT Natural History Museum  Whooo’s That? Identifying Backyard Wildlife  (LIVE ANIMALS!)  Meet our live animal educators and learn what to look for when they (or their cousins) show up your back yard. Field marks, field guides and how to narrow down your search are all highlighted in this engaging live animal presentation.

Monday, July 22, 5pm Safe Mushroom Foraging  (TEEN + ADULT – Limited spots available, pre-registration is required) Learn how to recognize different mushroomsorage safely.

Saturday, July 20, 1pm – Vermont Armored Combat (ALL AGES)  – Knights in armor, sword fighting, excitement! A demonstration followed by some hands-on learning.

Tuesday, August 6, 5pm – Tie-Dye and Ice Cream Social  Bring a white cotton t-shirt to this colorful and sweet family tie-dying event.  We’ll have the dyes,  materials, and know how.  You bring the t-shirt and the creativity!  And while your tie-dyes are soaking, enjoy some cool summer treats.  This program will take place outside, weather

Wednesday, August 14, 5pm – End of Summer Wrap-Up Party & Raptor Road Trip with the Vermont Institute of Natural Science (VINS)  If you had wings like a hawk, where would you fly? Birds of prey are found all over the world, in all kinds of environments—so why don’t we follow them! Join us on an imagined journey across the United States, and encounter some resident raptors in their ecosystems. We’ll learn about the habitat needs of each species, as well as their range and behavior in the wild. Who knows whoooo we’ll encounter
