March-aritaville: a celebration of warmth and fiber crafting (Rockingham Gathers)
Winter is SEW long! Let us transport you to a warmer place! On Saturday, March 21 from 11am-1pm, please join the Rockingham Free Public Library for March-aritaville, a celebration of warmth and fiber crafting.
It’s March outside, but in the library we will warm up with cozy crafts and summery vibes. Join fiber enthusiasts who will teach needle felting, knitting, and crocheting for all ages! We will also have Oreo tasting in the Youth Department! All materials are provided. Pack your flip flops and your creative energy and join us for crafting, snacks and lemonade. Free and open to the public!
This program is part of Rockingham Free Public Library’s Rockingham Gathers program, made possible by a 2025 AARP Vermont Winter Placemaking Grant. Rockingham Gathers is a series of programs and activities the Rockingham Library is organizing during Winter 2025 to support “creative, inclusive programming that fosters community connection and combats social isolation among older adults during the coldest months of the year.” RFPL is one of eight organizations from across Vermont to receive this grant.
